Spirit of Matthew 25 is a volunteer-based ministry intent on sharing the generosity

in our community with people of all ages and backgrounds who are in need.

With donations of resources, time, and energy, we share food, supplies, and support with compassion, dignity, and joy. Between our monthly Second Sunday Drive-Thru Food Distribution, weekly Friday Food Give-Away, Dignity Pantry, Community Garden, partnerships with two subsidized apartment complexes, three local schools, and various other organizations, (including Every Meal) we are serving over 1000 households each month. Because of the generosity of multiple organizations and area businesses, and many volunteers, we are on track to move more than a million dollars of food and supplies per year.

Generosity is our answer to the questions raised by compassion. We also share our facility with our own non-profit Coon Rapids Daycare Center, as well as many community organizations, including Narcotics Anonymous, Main Street Family Services Supervised family visits, Anoka County Caregivers' Respite, and House of Christ Assembly, a multicultural congregation.

Our hope is to grow Spirit of Matthew 25 into a sustainable networked ministry

of generosity, so that together, we can all contribute to the long-term betterment

of our community.

We connect with people, as recipients, volunteers, and donors, who need care, meaningful community, and have a desire to build hope for the future. People of every age, including young parents, youth, and children of every diversity, including non-English speaking people... people who are experiencing the complications of disability who need significant support and people who need a little help to get by... people who are currently experiencing homelessness, some who are completely unsheltered... people who are picking up for neighbors and friends in need and people who are passionate about making a difference and want to be involved.

Thank you for your interest in our organization. Our hope is to continue to make a difference in the lives of many people, while creating a healthier community with joy.
